How do I ORDER?

You know you want a suit.  Here are the steps:

1 – Measurements.  We suggest either going to a tailor to have your full measurements taken, or, better yet, Dan would be happy to size you up for free!  Simply sign up for a sizing session at one of our poly-annual Suit Soirees!    Be sure and send us your contact info so we can let you know when we’ll be in your area!  There are several Suit Soirees! planned  – hopefully one near you.  When you come to get your measurements, just wear normal, loose fitted clothing.  Its a good idea to bring the dress shoes you’d be wearing too, so we can make an exact measurement for you.  Be sure and email us at RubyThreads@yahoo.com with your contact info so we can schedule your sizing session at a Suit Soiree!

2 – Decide on a color, material, linings, button and pocket configuration, shirt and tie.  All of these decisions are more easily made if you can attend a Suit Soiree!, as Dan will have several suits of his for your inspection and for trying on.  Dan and Melissa will have clipboards ready to record your preferences to ensure your new suit is just as you want it.

3 – Pay up.  Ruby-Threads offers a special rate for discerning suit buyers…in other words…you can’t go wrong.  Currently, the offer is an entire three piece suit, a shirt and tie for only $199.  Unheard of!  Choose from Cashmere wool, Thai silk, linen, Chinese silk, Japanese silk, and other materials.  Some materials like denim and velvet cost a bit more, but not too much.  Big guys might pay a bit more too, as the amount of material used is a significant part of the overall cost for our tailors.  Delivery charge is a flat $25 per suit, or $50 rush charge – this latter service saves about three months on shipping time.  Once we have your total, we require at least half down.  We accept Visa, MC, and Discover.  Customers who opt to make a payment in full upon ordering will be rewarded with an extra tie!  The balance on your order is due upon receipt of your new threads.

4 – Wait.  If your opted for standard shipping, your new threads are being transported by sea, which takes about three months.  Rush shipping gets your duds to you by air – takes a couple weeks from our annual buying trip date (usually Jan or Feb).  Once it arrives in the States, we’ll forward your order along to you via USMail.

5 – Repeat! – go to step # 2, above.
